- MIC INPUTS - Three electronically balanced type
with XLR connector, High Pass Filter, 6 position Input Gain Selector,
rotary level control, 48V Phantom/12V T (AB) Powering.
- MIC/LINE - Each input is switchable to line level giving the same degree of control as for mic input.
- ROUTEING - Each input routed to left or right output using a centre detent panoramic potentiometer.
- OUTPUT - Transformer balanced with XLR Type connector, rotary stereo level control.
-
10 PIN MULTIWAY CONNECTOR - Contains left and right main output
signals and left and right return signals to the monitor path. This
allows a single connection to the recording media, e.g. Cameras. It can
be used simultaneously with the XLR outputs.
- LIMITER -
Incorporated in the main outputs. A push switch introduces the limiter
into circuit and a further switch enabling left and right signal paths
to be linked. Two LEDs indicate the onset of limiting.
- LINE UP OSCILLATOR - 1k Tone into Output
-
TALKBACK/SLATE - An internal electret microphone allows a 'slate'
signal to be added to the main outputs and a TALK switch enables
communication to a third party on a separate monitor output
-
MONITORING - Headphones on Type A Jack with rotary switch to select
pre-fade input, main output: left or right only or stereo. Three push
buttons operate in conjunction with the rotary switch. MONO enables the
monitor signal to be converted from stereo to monarual; RET allows the
return signal to be monitored in the format selected by the rotary
switch; MTX decodes an M-S signal to the L-R domain and visa-versa. A
second monitor output allows a third party to receive a monitor feed,
which also includes a private line (TALK) facility. This second monitor
can be configured, using internal DIL switches, to receive inputs 1 or 2
or both, giving the opportunity to send the boom operator his/her own
signal if they are the receiver.
- METERING - LCD type giving
indication of left and right output levels, battery status and
direct/return monitor selection. A back-light facility assists use in
low ambient light levels.
- POWERING - Internal batteries using 6
x AA cells or an external supply with a source voltage 9V to 15V DC. A
LED indicates the mixer is ON and also flashes when battery level is
low. A small 4 pin connector enables other external equipment, such as
radio microphone receivers to be powered.
