SST-282
Qty:
In 1981 a small company called Ursa Major in Belmont, MA (USA) introduced a very strange and wondrous signal processor called the SST-282. It became a much loved effects device, and in 2003 this 5.25 inch rack-mount unit was recreated in a small, tabletop form factor with digital I/O for studio use.
The SST-282 is a faithful recreation of the classic Ursa Major Space Station 3U rack processor from 1981. This unique plug-in provides a wide variety of small room reverbs and a multitude of multitap delay effects featuring 24 separate delay-line taps. One tap is used for echo, feeding back to the input with the decay control. In Reverb mode, the delay time of 15 taps is modulated before being fed back to the input. The last eight taps, labeled Audition Delay Taps, are configured in pairs to feed the processor's stereo outputs. The buttons select from 16 different delay tap configurations, each with its own unique effect type.
Feature bullets:
-Great small room reverb -Multi-tap echos -Wide variety of unique delay effects
