Review: GSA ML32
price, all-around mic, ready to go sound, aluminium case, quality components
new little know brand, far-East made body
This is an interesting new brand directly from the beautiful Tuscany. The mic body has been manufactured in some far-East place probably, but the sound really impressed me. The circuitry is designed with good quality components and the capsule (a standard K-67 copy) completely re-tuned with a smoother response.
I’ve tried the mic with vocals and Ac gtr. Unlike many other mic in this price range, this one is not harsh on the top-end and has a really good bottom end. The med-high is characterized by a shelf over the 6KHz so the sound results open and airy, but not crispy. It’s a nice all-around cost-effective large diaphragm condenser microphone with fix cardioid pattern, well suited for pop/rock vocals and acoustic instruments.
