Positives:

Three brilliant compressors which can be used individually. They can also be used as a rack of 3. They are easy to operate, and they sound superb. I especially like the "mix" function for that "parallel compression" trick. The MU is my favourite. It's hard to make it sound bad.

Negatives:

I'm supposed to put a negative in here ... hmmmm ... how about "Why didn't Steven Slate invent this plugin when I was young and helped me make ALL of my bands sound brilliant"

My Review

Until recently, the nearest I’d gotten to nice studio compressors, was watching the engineer tweak them while I my band’s songs were being mixed. Now, thanks to Slate Digital, my own recordings, of my bands and other bands, benefit from some really sweet compressions … both on individual tracks and busses.

As a result my mixes sound much more “together” and much more accomplished. That’s got to be worth the money!
