Positives:

This is incredibly easy to use. You can certainly hear the different flavours of console. You can pick & choose different consoles to suit different instruments. I love the "group" feature My basses sound bigger (I like the "Brit N" ie. Neve for this) My cymbals sound crisper (I like the "US A" ie. API for this)

Negatives:

It's too addictive!

My Review

I’ve had the Slate Digital VCC plug in now for about 4 weeks and I’ve used it on every mix I’ve done. Having had the time to experiment I feel I can honestly say that it’s well worth the asking price. If, like me, you’re not blessed with the space / money required to actually own a Neve or SSL console, then this will at least give your recordings the flavour of one of those consoles … and 3 others into the bargain.
